One of my early sessions with friends this spring had us stumbling upon, of all things, a King Arthur-like sword embedded in a rock. More recently, Fortnite placed an in-game soccer/football experience on the map where teammates can kick balls into the goals and see who is winning on the scoreboard.

There's more fuel for a space-themed season embedded in recent challenges. Another secret quest had players helping a group of mini-islanders known as the Coral Buddies. The goal is to help these cute creatures — who are isolated on islands at the top-left side of the map — progress through the wood, stone, modern and nuclear ages. Also, the Epic Games has extended Chapter 2 Season 2 till June 3, 2020, which means that Season 3 will launch after June 3 only.

So now the new Royal pass will debut after at least one month, and the previous Royal pass will remain in the market till the next update. And this has been officially confirmed by the Epic team through a blog post on their page. As we know, the third season of Fortnite was expected to be released on May 1, 2020, which is May Day also but has been extended. This is not good news for the audience that season 3 of Fortnite has been delayed.

It is not officially confirmed by the EPIC Games team that when it will be released after the delay. Fortnite Chapter 2 came to an end on Saturday, and in the meantime, the Fortnite Chapter 3 trailer has been leaked indicating several news features, weapons, and skins. With the many challenges out there right now, players can plan out strategies and roughly calculate how long they'll have to play and how many levels to unlock everything they want in the Battle Pass. As of this piece coming out, there are just over 103 days until this pass is over. The map Is probably the single biggest and most important change coming with the new season. That's unless you only play Fortnite to watch for the Default's fashion choices.

Fortnite is rare amongst Battle Royales in how it treats its map. Unlike Warzone, Apex, and PUBG, there's no multiple maps going on here. No matter how much the community wanted to revisit Chapter 1, Epic have kept it locked in their vault. This new map will probably be a different shape, layout and with different POIs. The Fortnite Chapter 2 finale event, called The End, took place on Saturday with players seeing the entire island flipped over.
